Stunning look, I imagine some of these sites can get a bit hard on the eyes if you’re looking at them for a while.

  • Daniel H August 21, 2009

creative, but it just hurts my eyes.

  • StandUP4Design August 21, 2009

I am inclined to love the yellow and black color schemes! ;) Great collection here!

  • Michelle August 21, 2009

http://www.moremeyou.com. Not AS bright to start. But you can make it as bright as you want in the YOU section. Pick your own colors and styles. One of coolest portfolio concepts I’ve seen in a while.

  • chad engle August 21, 2009

Nice lookin’ color schemes. Gotta love the bold ones. I really like carsonified’s redesign. Pretty cool.

  • Catalin Zorzini August 22, 2009

    cu, w0lf.

  • Ben August 23, 2009

Yellow seems to be the favored color for this style.
Personally i like the B Cube site the best, bright but more of a pastel color so its easier on the eyes

    Thanks for the roundup!

  • Darren Taylor August 23, 2009

I have great vision but find the orange and yellow and designs hard on the eyes. I’m surprised at Carsonified, usually their designs are leading edge, this latest just immediately makes me hit the close button.

  • Matt August 24, 2009

    Great compilation!

  • Mike Morgan September 3, 2009

hmm.. thought I did add my message, but I think it only partially submitted.

Anyway, here’s a link to a bright site I’ did last year for the Trinidad, CA Chamber of Commerce. Thanks for the article.

  • denbagus December 24, 2009

    nice material…thank you ,very inspiring

  • Don Rogers @creativelydone December 30, 2009

I like the use of bright colors in the designs. I noticed that orange is big…cool! I also see several sites using large Type, also very cool! I’m hoping the trend will continue…but not by sacrificing creativity, individuality and most importantly identity of client or design studio.
