Showcase of Indie Art and Photo Blogs for Your Visual Delight

Today we’ showcasing a new kind of websites here on Inspired Mag – non-mainstream photography & art blogs. Extremely cool websites made totally out of passion and almost without any kind of advertising banners or any other form of monetization.

Oitzarisme

Oitzarisme is one of the oldest indie photo blogs I’m aware of. I’m always impressed by the super cool selection of works from artists around the world on a constant basis.

Eclectic Cow

Eclectic Cow features a fresh selection of contemporary art, photography, illustration, graphic design, music and new media. Links and images, you just have to click!

Contact Collective

Contact Collective is owned by Anna Stevens & Emily Graham. They are based in London working in the photographic industry, making photography and writing about it.

I Love that Photo

I Love that Photo is an online photography magazine that gives photographers the opportunity to display their work. This comes with a short interview and information about the photographer. The main goal of the site is to show the differences or similarities between individual photographers and photography in general. ILOVETHATPHOTO wants to become the resource magazine for independent photographers and people who love photography in general.

Le Zebre Bleu

“The the art blog of an artist and art. It presents contemporary artists from around the world”

Sweet Station

“Welcome to Sweet Station, a place for our thoughts and ramblings in the fields of paintings, illustrating, advertising, photography, product design, architecture, installation design, graphic arts and well, pretty much anything we want to talk about. We hope to bring great fun and referred for constant inspiration.”

Memory Gospel

Very nice and inspirational collection of contemporary photography and music.

Too Much Chocolate

The site focuses on dialogue, support, and exposure within the online photo community, with hope that it transfers into real world relationships and photographic growth for its readers”

Conscientious Extended

“Conscientious Extended is a website dedicated to contemporary fine-art photography. It offers daily profiles of photographers, in-depth interviews, exhibition and book reviews, contributions by guest writers and general articles about photography and related issues.”

Feaverish Photography Blog

“Photographers are frequently inspired by things your boss might prefer you not be inspired by at work. Breasts, butts, etc. I’m not going to censor the site, so be warned. Also, I like big photos, so the page might take a second or two to download, especially if you’re on a slower connection. It’ll be worth it, I swear.”

Ben Trovato

“Ben Trovato means “Well found” in Italian. Ben Trovato is the blog where designer, art director and photographer Marius Troy posts that which inspires him.”

Hard Feelings

“Over the past handful of years, I’ve spent a lot of my time (+ company time, shhh) scouring the internet, trying to unearth every amazing + little known photographer, illustrator, designer + band on the planet. Most of my favorite artists are still hard to find.”

That’s it for now. Please leave some feedback, we need to know if you’d like more similar roundups or if you have some suggestions.
